Be kind and strong

I am going to whisper this very slowly:

"Be of good cheer. There is so much to be hopeful for."

Be strong and courages and continue to stand and when the world throws you down, stay there but just for enough time to catch your breath and then....stand up again.

When anxious and worried thoughts threaten to overwhelm you, grab a hold of them and find the strength to stand against them. Push them back with gratitude and breathe in peace that transcends all understanding for you a good, and strong a capable of doing the impossible when you are called to. You were made to strive to do the impossible. Did you know that? Wired with determination and persistence and the ability to survive the most difficult of circumstances, you are wired to overcome adversity and at the end of each trial, find joy, accomplishment and rest. We are warriors that are trained to work toward the good of all, removing the obstacles that block the path to healing.

We are warriors. We all hurt. We all suffer. We are all broken. But an army of us can accomplish anything.

Believe that we will conquer COVID 19 because there is no doubt that we will. Believe in the power of science to take us to the end of COVID 19 and most importantly, believe in the power of the public health guidelines that will slow the spread, keep our communities safe and give us the freedom to live without fear.

So when there are circumstances that threaten to overwhelm you with fear and despair, remember who you are and stand up to face another day knowing that you are not alone and that your fellow warriors are here to support you. Just like you, we are are good and just and kind and loving.

Cases just over 700 today. Steady numbers that we can manage. The R value in the province has shown signs of declining but it is still over 1 which means COVID 19 is spreading in our communities but the spread is not unmanageable, yet.

Back to the basics. Back to being kind and gentle with one another. Back to trusting the leaders that are leading us and back to having faith in a vaccine that will end all of this.

We cannot lose with this kind of collective effort and power but we must unite together, supporting each other in love and strength.

May you be blessed today.
